The Art of the Steal: Monday, April 29, 2013The Community Foundation of Westmoreland County invites all Westmoreland Bar Association members to a special showing of The Art of the Steal, a 2009 documentary about the decades-long efforts to resolve the financial problems of the Barnes Foundation, an estimated $30 billion collection of mostly Modernist and Post-Impressionist artworks resulting in the officers' decision to break Albert C. Barnes' will and relocate the collection from Lower Merion to Philadelphia.
Carolyn Duronio, Partner at Reed Smith, will provide legal commentary on the Barnes estate immediately following the film.
