Those interested in Veterans’ Affairs are invited to attend a free conference on Friday, April 29 from 9:00 am – 12:00 noon at Penn State Fayette in Swimmers Hall. Titled “Serving Those Who Served: Veteran Benefits, Programs and Legal Issues,” the seminar will provide insight into benefits available to veterans. Attorneys and county veteran service specialists will sit as panelists to address current concerns for recent and not-so-recent veterans.The program will kick-off with the viewing of the documentary “Journey To Normal” by Producer/Director JulieHera DeStefano, which recounts the service of women who have seen combat in Iraq and Afghanistan.
