Law Day 2013—Realizing the Dream: Equality for All

The Westmoreland Bar Association is gearing up for Law Day with this year’s theme Realizing the Dream: Equality for All which provides an opportunity to explore the movement for civil and human rights in America and the impact that it has had in promoting the ideal of equality under the law. Judges and attorneys will visit classrooms throughout May to to celebrate the American heritage of liberty, justice and equality.

Classroom teachers can contact the bar association at westbar.org@westbar.org or 724-834-6730 to make arrangements for classroom visits. WBA members are being recruited to serve as presenters. Interested attorneys/judges should call the bar office to become involved with Law Day 2013.
